Champ Biden has died

Last year we talked about President Biden's two dogs, Champ and Major. Champ was a 13 year old shepherd and has been with the Biden's since he was young. He was with them during their first stay at the White House. These past months he has been showing his age. He died peacefully with the family in their home this weekend.

I am sure Champ will be missed by everyone, but especially his presidential family.  Our sympathies to them.
That just leaves Major to carry on as the sole White House dog.

"In our most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion. We love our sweet, good boy and will miss him always," the Bidens said in a statement.

I am sure they will miss Champ. He was with them through some very important times.
