Auto correct "fixes" message from the dog groomer
#1
Dexter, the Beagle, was dropped off for grooming. A reasonable time later the owner got a message saying Dexter is dead. This was followed by frantic corrections and a picture of the dog alive and well.

It seems auto correct strikes again. The original message was probably Dexter is done. That is reasonable. Auto correct is nasty. Why not change done for dead.
I can imagine the shock of reading the message, both the recipient and the sender.
The sender was panicked enough to send a picture.
One thought is that if the dog had died, they would call the owner. There is no way they would send a text.  We are going to have to learn not to react to weird texts. They happen all the time and they can be hilarious. Dexter is dead is not one of the funny corrections.  My auto correct fights with me. I change a word back to what I wanted and it re-corrects it the word it wants.  I think auto correct is laughing at me.
