Betty White, a friend of animals, has died at 99
#1
The world has lost a great animal lover.

Betty White is know for her many acting roles. Her career spans many decades. However when she was asked what she wanted to be remembered for, she answered quite clearly, her love of animals. That is what kept her going all these years. She put a lot of time into various animal causes.

She pushed for pain management for animals having surgery. Now it is common practice. I can remember when it wasn't considered necessary.
People didn't think animals really felt pain. It took a sensitive person like Betty White to set things straight.
She did so much good. Now I am sure she has been greeted by many who love her as she crosses the Rainbow bridge.

We will miss her, but I am sure her legacy will live on. The example she set has influenced many to treat animals well.
