Dog keeps injured hiker warm until rescuers arrive
#1
Some guys were hiking in the Croatian mountains when one of them fell and was injured. His friends couldn't get to him. It took rescuers 13 hours to get there.
It was winter and it was cold. Alaskan Malamute North to the rescue. North lay on top of the injured man and kept him warm until help arrived.
There is no doubt that the dog kept him from freezing to death.

Once again a dog comes to the rescue. Thirteen hours is a long time to keep someone warm like that. The dog would not have known help was on the way or when it would arrive. The dog was just keeping the injured hiker warm. The dog was only 8 months old too. North was hardly more than a puppy, but he faithfully did the right thing,
