I'm a bit late with my greetings, but Happy July 4th to everyone!

Yes Happy Fourth of July!! I kept forgetting to put up a warning earlier. I hope everyone has their pets in a safe secure place tonight. More dogs are lost on July 4th than any other time of the year. Around my area we've had plenty of rain so there is no fireworks ban this year. That means everyone is shooting them off. July 5th is the busiest day for shelters.

I forgot about the fireworks problem. I do hope most people celebrated in a way that was safe for their pets. I prefer to go to some big fireworks show instead of trying to have my own. It is safer and someone else does all the work and I get the fun.
