Hudson's new home
#1
Hudson is the Toronto Zoo baby Polar Bear. He now lives in Winnipeg at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. It has been years in the making, but they have built an incredible Polar Bear/ Arctic display.

This gives them the chance to rescue more bears and to educate the public. The public vote and we need to elect a government that will protect the arctic.
The bears love it and I can feel good that our dear (not so little) Hudson has a good place to live.

I must say, this seems very good. I hope Hudson, and the others will be very happy there.

They have put a lot into setting up the bear habitat so I think the bears will really enjoy it. Winnipeg is just south of Churchill where many of the polar bears live in the wild, so it is a logical place to bring orphaned or injured bears.

I can take a 30 hour bus trip and go and see Hudson and the exhibit.
It seems like a long trip, but it is pretty amazing. The vast stretches of forest seem to go on forever. You don't get a sense of the size of the land when you fly over it.
