New pet sitting idea

There is a new pet sitting idea starting up called Trusted Housesitters. Think of it as a type of air bnb  for pet sitting.  People have to register and undergo background checks before doing any pet sitting. It is carefully handled. If you want to visit somewhere, you arrange to pet sit in that location. You stay in the home with the pets for free and in return you care for the pets. So you get a cheap vacation by doing a little pet sitting. If you need a pet sitter back home you can arrange that too. You don't have to pay for someone to look after your pets and you don't have to pay for accommodations.

It is an idea that could work. When you have pets, it can be hard to go on vacation. Even if you find a trusted sitter, there is the cost of the sitter and the cost of accommodations at your vacation location. This would be cheaper and perhaps safer. I know one of the worst things about trying to take a vacation is finding someone who can take care of your pets. This could open up travel for a lot of pet people.
