Feb 27, International Polar Bear Day
#1
Sunday February 27, 2022 is international Polar Bear Day.
It is celebrated at this time because now is when the moms are in the dens with their cubs. Now is when they are most vulnerable.
Now is when we need to think about helping polar bears to survive.

Their survival depends on our willingness to act.

Assiniboine Park Zoo is the zoo I grew up with. They are doing a lot of Polar Bear research. I want to share their response to International Polar Bear Day.

A world without Polar Bears would be a much poorer place. We need to act for the bears and so many other species.
