No one likes the way a litter pan looks. It is a nasty to have one sitting in the kitchen or bathroom, worse, the living room, where your guests can see it.
There are now some clever solutions to the litter pan problem. The pan is hidden inside a perfectly nice piece of furniture. They even have a litter pan that is hidden under a plant pot. There seem to be designs to fit any style of furniture.

Why didn't they have furniture like this when I had cats?
This would be great for people who live in small places. The litter pan cabinets can double as a useable piece of furniture. How great is that. When you has a small place, everything has to double as something else.
