It seems there is a serious bird flu outbreak in some US states.
It has been hitting big poultry farms. The death toll is now around 2.8 million birds.

Cases started around Feb 8, 2022. I know I was aware of it, but I couldn't bear to think about another epidemic at the time.
This is serious and factory farming is clearly a factor. It is not clear yet how far this will spread or if other species are at risk.
I will post more as I find out more.
