It is an odd question, but do hamsters really like hamster wheels. It seems the answer is yes and a number of other animals like hamster wheels as well.
They set up wheels in the woods. Some had food nearby and some did not. Animals came and ran on the wheels. Rats, mice , shrews and even frogs ran on the wheels.

All my hamsters loved their wheels. An adult would get it spinning and the babies would hang on and get spun around and around. It was like a ride at an amusement park. They came back to it night after night. I could picture other rodents running on a wheel. The frog surprised me. But why not, maybe they like the thrill of making the wheel spin.
