This is a good list of dangers. The plug-ins can be a bit of a fire hazard anyhow. Hairspray can coat the lungs. People shouldn't use it on themselves. They breath it in. It could be deadly for any pet.

Many of them are not safe for household use. If you read the list of safety precautions, why would you still use them. They can cause serious skin irritations. Pets walk on surfaces and lick things. I would worry about furniture polish even. It could easily poison a dog.
