Ukrainian refugees and their pets arrive in Canada

A plane full of Ukrainian Refugees with their pets, arrived in Canada, Newfoundland actually. 
Newfoundland and Labrador's Ukrainian Family Support Desk provided them with every assistance to get to Canada. The people of Newfoundland have welcomed them into the community and into their homes.

For some this may be a temporary place of safety and for others it may be a permanent relocation. Either way it is beautiful to see the warm welcome they received. It is not always easy for refugees to find a warm welcome. These people were welcomed with their pets. I think we can be proud of how people around the world have responded to the people in need and to the animals in need.
