More than 1000 stuffed, endangered animals seized in Spain
#1
Spanish police have seized 29 million Euros worth of stuffed, endangered animals. Some are already extinct in the wild. Some are in danger of extinction. The found everything from Polar Bears to Bengal Tigers. They were found in an industrial warehouse in Valencia. The case is being investigated as a potential smuggling situation.

This is shocking and disgusting. Because they are stuffed it is possible there were killed many years ago at a time when no one thought about conservation and the dangers of extinction. That doesn't make it less nasty. It just means these animals probably died at different times many years ago. It is important that the smuggling be stopped. No one should profit from these animals. I don't know what should be done with them, but they should not be kept as private property, to be displayed as a trophy. Perhaps they could be used for educational purposes.
