The heatwave in India is so severe that birds are falling out of the sky. They are exhausted and dehydrated. Rescuers go out daily and pick them up so thye can be given water and allowed to rest.

You know it is too hot when birds can't fly. If it were not for rescuers, the dehydrated birds would not stand a chance.
One animal hospital has treated thousands of birds. AS the heat wave progresses it will only get worse.
Dare we ask if this heatwave is a product of global warming. Areas prone to extreme heat are going to experience even greater heat,
Sadly many birds will not be rescued in time.
