Community donates ice to local shelter to keep the dogs cool during a power outage
#1
The Franklin County Dog Shelter in Columbus Ohio lost power on a very hot day. They put out a call for ice to keep the dogs cool. Very quickly, dozens of dog owners donated hundreds of bags of ice.
They put out a call for other items and they got those too.
The power is back on and now the shelter is well supplied with ice and anything else they need.

It is wonderful to see how people respond when there is a crisis.  The shelter got as much as they needed and more.
Animal lovers will always respond when there are animals in need.
