Re-wilding Britan...The beavers return
#1
A few years ago the question was about beavers and should they be returned to Britain. Now there are hundreds of them.  They are part of a larger movement to rewild the country. The countryside is literally being changed. The land itself benefits from re-wilding and so does the economy. There is an actual increase in jobs.
There is an increase in biodiversity. Everyonenbenefits.

Re-wilding stabilizes the land and does help with climate change.  A more natural countryside is more resilient. It gives back to the planet. As significant amounts of the country return to their natural state, the whole country benefits. It will take time, but at some point the country will have enough natural habitat to keep going  and keep endangered species going. The beavers in many ways symbolize the changes that are taking place. From a hesitant start, the project is now thriving.
