Wombat found hiding in the laundry

A woman heard some noise so she checked a pile of laundry in her shed. She discovered a wombat tucked under a blanket. 
She contacted Wombat Rescue who came to help. They figured the wombat's den was probably flooded and that would be why she took refuge in a shed in a pile of laundry. They treated her medical issues and the woman let the wombat stay in the shed until her den was dry. She stayed for a few days.

How wonderful to be able to help a wombat. The woman did everything to make the shed more comfortable.
It is beautiful when animals know they can turn to us for help. That is when we know we are in harmony with the planet.
I hope the wombat has a long and healthy life after her short stay with a human neighbour.
