Owner arrested after dog left on hot car dies.
#1
It is seriously hot outside. Right now that describes a great many places. We all know what happens to dogs left in cars in this heat.
Gazer, a two year old shepherd was left in a car when it was 89F. The police were called and they rescued him and rushed him to a vet.
They tried, but it was too late. Sadly Gazer couldn't be saved.
His owner has been arrested and charged with animal abuse.

The man should be charged. There cannot be anyone out there who does not know what happens to dogs left in hot cars.
Gazer trusted his person and was totally dependent on him. That person left him in a car that was so hot the dog essentially was being cooked to death.
I hope the charges stick. People need to know there are consequences when they  do something cruel to an animal. There was nothing the dog could do to protect himself as the temperature in the car started rising. He was helpless and it was strangers who tried to save him. Gazer deserved much better. He was a young dog and should have had many happy years of life ahead of him.
