Toronto Raccoon uses the neighbor's pool to cool off
#1
A woman in Toronto noticed wet foot prints and when she checked there was a wet raccoon by her pool. She thought he had fallen in by accident.
This is a Toronto Raccoon. Smiley4They don't do anything by accident. A short while later he was back in the pool for a swim.
It has been very hot and he keeps coming back for a swim.

Our Toronto Raccoons are too funny. They have figured out how to live with humans and benefit from us. They know about going in and out of open windows. They understand our kitchens and can open peanut butter jars and refrigerators. Now they know how to use our swimming pools.
So, I wonder, if raccoons are using people's private pools, do you think they use our big public pools. If they came at night when the pool is closed, they could climb the fence and have a pool party. Maybe whole groups of raccoons are using our pools and playgrounds.

I know I looked out into my back garden one night and saw a raccoon sitting on my garden swing, gently swinging back and forth.
He looked very comfortable. I don't think it was his first or last visit.
