Cat travels 40 miles to rejoin his family

A family was preparing to move when they realized their cat had disappeared. Oliver was no where to be found. They had to move, but they came back over and over to look for him. They finally realized that Oliver was gone for good and then he showed up. Somehow he walked the 40 miles to their new home.

The cat walking 40 miles I can understand. A determined cat could do that. How did he find a place he had never been to?
Oliver showed up at the new house. Cats truly are exceptional, mysterious creatures. Clearly they can do things we don't understand. 
I am glad the little boy has his cat back. I think the cat is happy to be with his little boy again.
