Friday was world elephant day.  It is a day to commemorate these gentle giants and to renew our conservation efforts.

Without our help and protection we risk losing these beautiful animals forever.

However we celebrate the day we need to focus on maintaining healthy herds of elephants in healthy habitats. Without places to live elephants cannot thrive.
We also need to fight poaching, especially be rejecting the products of poaching. Just say no to Ivory.
