The rescue of 4000 beagles brings all animal research into question.
#1
In theory animal research has allowed us to make advancements in human medicine. In reality it hasn't worked that way.
The 4000 beagles would have been used for nothing if they had not been rescued.
Many of the experiments with animals do not actually model how things work with humans.
We have other possible ways of doing research.
Even the people doing the research are feeling conflicted.

So why are we still doing research on animals?
It is time all research animal suppliers were shut down. It is time we used safer more effective methods for research.
If we can save 4000 dogs then we should be able to save all the rest of the animals. We need to get all people to question the use of research animals.
It will move us in the right direction.
