Cats in London, Ontario being deliberately harmed

Someone in an area of London, Ontario has been deliberately harming cats. A cat was found with a trap on its leg. It lost the leg but is doing well.
One family had their cat come home badly injured. Sadly, she couldn't be saved. There are multiple reports of injuries to cats. The police are investigating, but so far have no suspect. People are being asked to come forward if they have any information.

This is a frightening time for cat owners. It is also a dangerous time for street cats.  Both are being targeted. I just hope they catch someone soon.
The person needs to be caught and convicted. This kind of cruelty needs to be stopped and dealt with properly. The penalty can be as much as two years in jail. That is not much when you think of what the animals suffered, but at least it is something.
