The Buffalo Sabres, a hockey team has a new team dog. Nikki is an eight month old golden retriever. She is part of the WNY and Pawsitive For Heros program.
She will be trained over the next months and end up as a service dog for a veteran. This is the second dog the team will have worked with. While she is with the team, she will make appearances at games and public events.

Whoever is paired with Nikki better be a hockey fan. Nikkie better be a hockey fan too.
