Severe storms can disrupt baby sea turtles heading out to their feeding grounds. An extreme storm like Hurricane Ian has left 200 baby turtles in need of rescue.
They were rescued by the Sea Turtle Preservation Society, and they are being cared for by the Brevard Zoo's Sea Turtle Healing Center.

It is good to know that there are people out there looking after the baby sea turtles. They wouldn't have known to flee the storm and where would they have gone.
Hurricane Ian was so big and powerful that little turtles could not have out swum it.
Hopefully any other lost turtles out there find someone to help them.
