A little dog was seen wandering in a cemetery. A local vet was helping her out but couldn't catch her. Finally with help from a local rescue she was captured and brought inside. She was in pretty good health, and she had a microchip. Her family had kept the microchip information up to date in hopes of finding her.
It had been a year, but they still had hope. Then they got the call that Truvy had been found. When they went to get her, it took her a moment to recognize her people. Then she was overjoyed to see them. She is now back home and happy to be there.

Once again microchips saved the day. Without an up-to-date microchip Truvy would never have found her way home. She would have found a home, but her family would never have known what happened to her.
