PEI Racehorse Mittcent Vangogh ended up at a slaughterhouse in Pennsylvania. Someone alerted his former owner and she took to social media to ask for help.
She needed $4000,00 to rescue him and get him home safely. She set up a Go Fund Me and people were generous. The money was raised and the horse was on his way home. He arrived on Dec 22 and he has settled in very well. He is living with another horse and they are getting along well. In the spring he will have fresh grass for grazing and a secure future.

It is nice to hear a happy ending to a story. Sadly for many horses the happy ending doesn't come.
I hope Mittcent Vangogh has many happy years of retirement.
