Couple rescue a drowning baby Osprey

Few people get to see and Osprey, let alone rescue one. When the couple saw something in the water floating by and it turned out to be an Osprey, they jumped in their kayaks and paddled to the rescue. They were able to get the baby onto the rocks where it could rest. Soon the mother swooped in to complete the rescue. She guided the young bird back to the nest.

They were in the right place at the right time and they reacted quickly. The little bird was probably tiring and would have been unable to save itself.
I am glad they have been able to watch the osprey ever since. They deserve that for their kindness and quick thinking.
