A pigeon of a different color
#1
It seems people is Toronto's east end have been seeing an orange pigeon.
If you look at the picture, it really is orange. He certainly stands out in a flock of grey pigeons.

I have never seen an orange pigeon, but in north west Toronto I have seen almost white ones and taupe coloured ones. So why not orange. There are clearly some color mutations out there. I am hoping there is more than one orange pigeon. It stands out in the flock of grey pigeons, but it could still blend in to the city landscape. It would be less noticeable against a brick building. Hopefully this summer there are a whole lot of baby orange pigeons. One thing is certain, there will be a whole lot of baby pigeons.
