Animals being rescued after earthquake in Turkey

Even after all these days animals are still being rescued from the rubble in Turkey. PETA is on the ground doing what it can. A group of 40 budgies were brought out alive from the rubble of a pet store. Animals with broken bones are being rescued and provided with veterinary care, even though the nearest vets are hundreds of kilometers away. The most desperate need now is for food and warm blankets. As long as there is a chance they will keep searching for animals in the rubble.

It is amazing that any animals have survived the devastation. It is because of the dedication of PETA that animals have been found and rescued. 
These people are real heroes. They deserve every respect and honor we can give them.
