World Wildlife Day 2023: The 50th anniversary of CITES
#1
Friday March 3 is World Wildlife Day. It is also the 50th anniversary of the signing of CITES, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

I am thinking back to where I was on March 3, 1973 and I don't think I knew this was happening.
It is definitely the right day to celebrate World Wildlife Day. Many species of wildlife would not be here without CITES to protect them.

There are lots of ways to celebrate the day.

However you celebrate it, remember the future of wildlife and our planet is in our hands.
We need to make the right choices and do the right things now, while there is still time.
