Taxis refused to take passenger with a service dog.
#1
A man in Toronto has had multiple refusals by taxis that don't want to take his service dog.
He has been forced to stand out in the cold while waiting for another taxis. Sometimes the replacement taxi refuses to take him.

This is becoming a more and more frequent occurrence. This refusal to take the dog has happened multiple times to the same person and sometimes multiple times on the same night.
Clearly someone is going to have to pursue this as a human rights/discrimination issue. We say that we are an inclusive society, but a little thing like needing a service dog has become grounds for exclusion. Even though it is illegal to exclude someone with a dog, it is still being done.
I hope the next thing I read about this subject has to do with law suits and rulings in favor of service dogs.
