The cost of feeding a pet has risen sharply. People who want to keep their pets are having to make hard choices. Some are even cutting back on their own groceries so they can afford to feed their pets.

People will do anything to keep their pets. Everything has gone up in price, pet food is no exception. There might be ways to save a little by buying in bulk or watching for sales, pet food doesn't usually have big sales. Buying a cheaper brand is not always an option. Pets don't like changes in their food and the quality of pet food matters. Pet food banks will help if things are really bad. The rest of us will just have to make little sacrifices to keep our pets well fed.
