Searching for Max's people

A dog called Max was abandoned with a note in west Toronto. The family is having difficulties and can't care for him.
Max is now at the Toronto Humane Society shelter. The note indicates that the family really loves Max. So the Toronto Humane Society is reaching out to them. There is an Urgent Care Program that provides foster care for a pet when a family has an emergency. Most people would not know about this program as it is a new idea. It is one that is clearly needed. Max could be fostered through the program and them reunited with his family

I think it is beautiful that they are searching for Max's family to help them. I did know about the program. If a person has a medical emergency the THS will give foster care until the pet can go back home. It would be wonderful for Max and his family if they can be reunited.  I hope someone sees this article and contacts the family. We have all lost too much these past years. Even one happy reunion would make us all feel better.
