Kittens rescued from couch about to be sent to the dump

A cat had kittens inside an old couch that was waiting to be thrown away. When they came to throw it away they realized there were kittens inside.
They had to cut the upholstery open to get the kittens out. It all worked out well. The couch is gone, but mom and kittens are being cared for.

No doubt the kittens will find good homes. They certainly were cute. Even mom will get a better home than an abandoned couch.
Good for the guys that they stopped and rescued the kittens. It is fortunate that they even heard them. I guess that is why kittens have such piercing cries.
