Sad fate of cull dairy cows
#1
Cull dairy cows are those that are no longer "useful" to the farmer. They are disposed of or culled.
If that meant euthanasia, that would be bad enough. In stead, they are shipped to auction, sold and transported to slaughterhouses.
They are days in transit with out proper care. It is not just the lack of food or water, these cows are not milked. They suffer.

From the beginning to the end Dairy cows are misused. The males are slaughtered for veal when they are very young.
Females are forced to be pregnant over and over to keep up their milk production, but they never get to raise their calves.
They are bred to produce massive amounts of milk. If that drops off, they are culled. They live in small pens and at no point in  their lives are they
shown kindness or given and comfort. Their basic needs are only met because they produce milk. Their whole existence is one of use, abuse and suffering.

Dairy farms should not be allowed to show happy cows in fields when they advertise their products.
