Cat uses remote camera to tell on the dog

The dog is chewing up the remote controller and the cat very carefully moves the camera so we can see the dog.

I looked at the video and the cat really does move the camera so we can see the dog. The cat moves it just the right amount so we can see the dog. 
Does the cat really know what he is doing or was it just chance. Either way the dog is busted.
