The Grassland Earless Dragon has not been seen since 1969. It was thought to be extinct.
They have just been found in the grasslands west of Melbourne. If they are going to survive, conservation actions need to be taken.
The fact that they are still alive gives hope for other missing species like the Tassie Tiger.

This is a rare opportunity to bring something back that we thought was lost. Sometimes nature gives us a second chance.
I hope that whatever is done is enough to save the dragon. It is a beautiful lizard and the world would be a poorer place if they disappeared again.
