World's Ugliest Dog Award

Scooter, a dog in Arizona has just won the world's Ugliest Dog award.
He is a funny looking Chinese Crested Dog. He is also a tough little dog. He was born with two deformed back legs.
The breeder brought him to an animal control facility to be euthanized. 
He ended up being rescued. He uses a cart to support his body so he can get around using his front legs. He can even balance and walk using his front legs.

Scooter is funny looking. I wouldn't call him ugly, but he is not pretty either. Unless you look at his personality, then he is beautiful.

Aww, Scooter isn't ugly. He has the most amazing unique ears.

Thanks to people who believed in him, he is alive today, enjoying his life. He is a strong determined little fella. How wonderful that he wasn't just "got rid of."

I think the purpose of this award is to point out how amazing little dogs like Scooter are. 
He was supposed to be gotten rid of and instead he has a wonderful life and we all love him.
I agree, his ears are so interesting. I think they are cute.
