Australia just released 350 White's Seahorses in Sydney Harbour. To ensure their survival they have set up hotels for them.
The hotels are made from biodegradable metal. They provide a place for the seahorses to attach.
Previous releases have continued to use the motels.
The hope is that the released seahorses will restore the natural populations.

This is a great idea. They need to replenish the declining seahorse populations. Releasing them is good. Releasing them with a place they can live is better.
Hopefully we will hear follow-up reports on how the released horses are doing.
