Spotless giraffe born at Tennessee Zoo
#1
Tennessee zoo was excited to welcome a new baby giraffe. When the baby was born without spots they were really excited. That last known spotless giraffe was born in Japan in 1972. Reticulated giraffes are known for their spots.
They are having a naming contest and they hope this rare birth will bring publicity  to the fact that giraffes are endangered in the wild.

She is pretty. Her lack of spots makes her eyes stand out more. I wonder what her mother thinks. I wonder why she doesn't have spots?
I hope she really can help bring attention to the plight of giraffes.
