Oklahoma Zoo has welcomed a new baby Clouded Leopard. Little JD is doing very well, eating and sleeping and growing. Clouded Leopards are endangered and no longer exist in some of their original territory. Every birth matters to the species and its overall survival.

A birth is always good news but when it is a rare and endangered species it is cause for a real celebration. Being able to show a clouded Leopard to the public helps raise awareness of the species and how vulnerable it is. JD has a busy life ahead of him, teaching people about a beautiful and rare species of cat.
