Manitoba Underdogs rescue nominated for an award.

Manitoba Underdogs Rescue has been nominated for an award,  the Landrover Defender Service Awards. They will attend the awards in Texas in November.
There is a $25,000.00 award and a Landrover. Winning a Landrover would be a tremendous help to the rescue. They rescue dogs from very remote areas.
A landrover would let them rescue any dog anywhere, no matter what the weather.

I really hope they win. They do a lot of good work in Manitoba. The weather is a real challenge, especially in the winter. A remote community in Manitoba is really remote. With all the good work they do, they deserve to win.

Manitoba Underdogs Rescue: love the name! I always look closely when I see the word "underdog" - whether applied literally or otherwise (e.g.disadvantaged humans).

They could sure use the vehicle. They have been known to scramble in a Manitoba blizzard to rescue abandoned dogs.
The nickname for Winnipeg is Winterpeg, for a reason.
