Remember to keep your Christmas decorations pet safe.

Every year pets are injured and even die from holiday decorations. It is good to look over your decorations every year to be sure they are not a health hazard for your pets. Be careful of seasonal plants too. Some of them are very poisonous.

Some decorations like tinsel are not worth the risk. Fragile ornaments are not worth it. When I had cats, I put plastic ornaments on the bottom of my tree so they could play with them. Anything that could be dangerous was at the top of the tree. That even worked when I had hamsters. They would get out and play with the ornaments at the bottom of the tree.
Even things like candy and chocolate need to be out of reach of our furry friends.
