Manatees, captive since 1956 will be released
#1
Two Manatees, Romeo and Juliet have lives at Miami's Seaquariun since 1956.There living conditions are not good and activists have been pushing for their release. Finally, they are going to be released.

Sadly there is an Orca at the same facility that will have to wait more than a year for release.
It is hard to believe that there are still so many marine mammals living in captivity.
Good for the activists who have not let the issue go. They keep fighting for all the mammals in miserable, lonely tanks. Some day all of them will be free.
Until them we have to keep fighting.
