George the 14 year old therapy dog retires

George is a 14 year old Shih-tzu. He has worked as a therapy dog since 2016. He has visited nursing homes and supportive living facilities.
He is a special favourite and much loved. Now after 8 years of service, he is ready to retire.

I am sure he will be missed. |It sounds like he brought a lot of joy into people's lives.
Just seeing a cute little dog like George would make people feel better. I hope he has a happy retirement.
