Hope For Wildlife rescues a bald raccoon
#1
Nova Scotia's Hope For Wildlife has just rescued an unusual animal. He is a completely bald raccoon. A completely hairless raccoon is a very rare thing. It can be caused by a number of things. This raccoon appears to be very healthy in spite of his condition. He is being cared for and they will try to determine the cause of his hair loss.

Poor little raccoon. He looks so strange, it is hard to believe he is a raccoon. He looks sad and almost embarrassed.
He probably is embarrassed. He must know what he looks like. I hope the problem can be fixed. If he doesn't get his fur back, he probably won't be able to live in the wild. Whatever happens he is in good hands and they will do their best for him.

Maybe they could get him a raccoon coloured sweater and paint a mask on his face.
