A man fell in a muddy ditch in Taber Alberta. He was unable to get out. His dog stayed with him the whole time. The dog even fought off coyotes. The man was trapped for two days. His dog bit a man walking his own dog in the area. The police were called and they found the man and his dog.
The man was taken to hospital and he is okay.

The name of the dog is Hero. He really is. It would have been cold and uncomfortable, but the dog stayed with him. The ditch was deep enough that no one would have seen the trapped man.
I suspect the dog bit the dog walker to try and get his attention. It worked. The rescue happened.
