Dog groomers give surrendered dog an emergency makeover.

Pixie the dog was surrendered by her owner because he couldn't care for her. The shelter took her in and put in an emergency call to a local dog groomer. They took her right away and spent three hours freeing her from a mass of matted fur. When they finished, Pixie was a pretty little dog who really did fit her name. Within days she was adopted into a new home where she will receive the care she deserves.

It is hard to believe what a cute little dog was hidden under that horrible mat of fur.
It is good that she was surrendered, but it is sad that the person waited so long. Pixie didn't get that bad overnight.
It must have been horrible for her. I doubt if she could eat or walk properly.
Sometimes the kindest thing to do is let an animal go, if you can't look after it properly.
